Situated two minutes east of Newport town centre and just yards from the junction with A41, this parkland course is a delight to play throughout the year. It features gentle gradients, so is fairly easy walking, but does contain a number of water hazards throughout which can quite easily temper an otherwise peaceful round. The 253-yard par four fifth is a great hole. Because of its short yardage, it is reachable for the longer hitters. The green is guarded by a bunker on the front left and slopes away to the back.
